Motherful Brand Narrative:
At Motherful, we are a soulful collective. A maternal force of nature, urging you to pull from every corner of who you are. Fully empowering you to be unapologetically you — and everything you’re destined to be.
Motherful serves as a source of power.
A home away from home.
Where respect lives and love flourishes.
Where you and yours are in your element — embracing vulnerability, sharing strength, and celebrating play.
We are single moms, but many women. Badass warriors and gentle nurturers. Passionate fighters and proud matriarchs, all.
All at once, fortifying bonds and fulfilling the health and happiness of our families.
Fighting selflessly and selfishly for the ones we love.
Facing uncomfortable truths and saying “fuck you” to the stigmas thrust upon us.
And when things get tough, we give more of ourselves and dig even deeper.
Bringing every piece and every part of who we are. Because when we do, the world gets better.
That’s why we care. We create. We fight. Like a mother.

Brand Narrative:
Collections are, by definition, special.
A set of notable objects that create a snapshot of who you are.
The “collection of you” started well before you were born. Before your parents met. Before we put signatures on the Constitution and a man on the moon.
Human history, the greatest and most profound collection of all, with its successes and disasters, great discoveries and tragic losses, is a running record of you.
Your ancestors, your milestone moments, life-altering ideas, and accidental inventions: these serve as threads that weave you into the tapestry of the great human story.
Because the story of you is also the story of us.
The ancient artifacts we’ve discovered, the natural worlds we’ve observed, the intriguing histories we’ve unraveled — each adds a chapter to your collection, meticulously tended by the few, to be enjoyed and understood by all.
These collections are far-reaching. They transcend the walls of our museums to influence. To inspire. To compel discoverers to explore new frontiers. To motivate researchers to seek new explanations. To invite dreamers to ask: Why? How?
And more important: What’s next? What else?
The gifts we receive help us to cultivate the collections of today. To spur and nurture the collections of tomorrow. And to provide for the wonders yet undiscovered and unseen.
With exploration and study, through steadfast belief and continued support, the story of who we are becomes the story of who we can be.
When we use our past as a tool for change, and our hopes as the catalyst for the future, we set in motion a miraculous transformation — from the collection of you to the collection of us.

Dillard University Brand Narrative:
At Dillard University, you’re never far from the idea of legacy.
The legacy of the institution, of the people that fought to create it, and the alumni of years past, cultivating Dillard’s reputation long after their time under the oaks has ended.
This legacy is enriched and enhanced with every achievement, every campus connection, every homecoming parade and graduation ceremony.
Because Dillard’s eternal legacy is its students.
Students who know where they’re going, because they know where they came from.
Who know their potential because they understand the gravity of their past.
And who know Dillard University is not just where young Black students go to receive a higher standard of education – it’s a sanctuary of solidarity, built for and by their own.
A place to walk in the footsteps of their predecessors, and most of all, to author their own legacy and have a hand in the next chapter of the Dillard story.
Dillard is, because they were.
Dillard will be, because you are.
Together, we’ll make future history.

I worked on this COVID-era project when I was still contracting for Ologie. The ask was to create an additional concept for the City of Columbus’ local campaign to drive vaccination numbers. The concept I created was called Just The Facts, focused on separating misinformation from the truth about the efficacy of vaccines.
Following the success of this work, Ologie offered me my full-time role as Art Director, Copy.

Concept Narrative 1 (selected):
Known as Irwins
The Agnes Irwin School knows girls. And it’s our mission to help girls know themselves.
Because when she knows who she is, fully and wholly, she is instilled with a fearless spirit and inherent strength that lasts.
At Agnes, she uses her innate talents to rise into her power.
She learns from challenges to understand her opportunities.
She owns her decisions, so she can design her future — one that’s uniquely her, and all her own.
Here she learns to take ownership of how she shows up in the world.
Her choices, right and wrong. How to make them, and how to change them.
She learns what her future could hold. What opinions she feels drawn to. How her perspective can change and shift the more she grows.
And the empowerment in discovering a viewpoint she can call her own.
This only happens in an all-girls environment.
One of radical self-acceptance. One of bold self-expression.
Where a true commitment to seeing and understanding girls — just as they are, where they are — is the standard.
Agnes Irwin teaches from a place of 150 years of knowing and being known, guiding students through the peaks and valleys of girlhood, all to emerge as confident and self-actualized women.
Ready to step into the spotlight.
Ready to be known.
For their talents, for their successes, for who they are, and everything they will become.
Known as Irwins.
The Agnes Irwin School.
Concept Narrative 2:
Fully for Herself
What would happen if we gave each girl permission to put herself first?
What if we focused on the care and connection to self?
Self-worth. Self-awareness.
Self-love. Self-actualization.
At the Agnes Irwin School, we know the power of an all-girls education.
Here we help remarkable girls fully show up every day, by fully showing up for her.
Fully supporting her dreams in a way that works for her.
Helping girls thrive in a space built specifically for her.
All girls. All achievement.
Because when she has the space, time, and room to do her best, she goes on to be at her best —
In the classroom, on the field, in her field.
When she learns how to show up for herself, she gains the strength to be extraordinary.
To strive and succeed, with conviction and compassion. Without losing a single piece of what makes her, her.
At Agnes Irwin, she’s encouraged to be so wildly herself, it becomes a safe space for others to do the same. To live so loudly in her truth, she inspires her peers to raise their voices and speak their own.
To be so proudly and completely and unshrinkingly her, that she goes on to do what only she could do.
We ask what would happen if she put herself first —
Because here, everything begins and ends with her.

Claflin University Brand Narrative:
What exists at Claflin is anything but common. It can’t be bought or manufactured, recreated or replicated.
When a Claflinite enters a space, they make an impression. When a graduate speaks, people can’t help but listen. When our community gathers, the warmth of our connection can be felt.
And when our students thrive, the world is made better.
Our reign over the rankings and academic vigor are irrefutable — but Claflin’s true distinction lies in our approach to life and learning.
We take pride in meeting our students where they are — then showing them where they can go.
We tend to an atmosphere that inspires creation — and encourages contemplation. One that ensures in every boardroom, on every panel, and at every table, there’s not just a place — but a need — for a Claflin scholar.
Call it what you want — confidence, spirit, magnetism or magic — we just call it Claflin.
Where the energy is fiery and fulfilling, and our people are compassionate and commanding.
Where our presence echoes with our power, and we claim excellence as our birthright.
Derived from the strength and resilience of our past, and harnessed to foster extraordinary futures, this intangible but unmistakable way of being is what you’ll find — only here.
Only you. Only now. Only Claflin.

Additional Work: Wrote a marketing case study for this campaign (available upon request).
Project Summary:
This campaign measurably raised awareness of Pitt: not only in Pennsylvania, but throughout the surrounding region. The university achieved its goal of maintaining a strong regional presence, and being known not just as an in-state innovator, but as a national destination for those with big talent and bigger ideas.
This immersive campaign redefined what it meant to forge ahead, and reintroduced Pitt as the home of preeminent thinkers and doers who are already striving for what’s next.
At the end of the initial two-month campaign, it had garnered over 71 million estimated impressions across five major urban feeder markets, setting the foundation for subsequent campaign work at even a more granular level.

LMU SOE Brand Narrative:
To educate is more than to provide instruction. It’s to inspire creativity, validate dreams, and spur greatness.
It’s the bravery to question the way things have always been done.
At Loyola Marymount University School of Education, we’re shaping educators that ask questions, examine routines, and break the mold.
Administrators who challenge systems. Counselors who help students face adversity. And teachers who will pass on the wisdom and life skills needed to navigate the world our next generation will inherit.
We push past the outdated boundaries of what a teacher, a principal, or a mental health professional is capable of, drawing outside the lines to introduce a new kind of educator.
A pioneer that innovates fearlessly, but always leads with empathy. An altruistic confidante that’s ready to fight for what’s right. A lifelong learner that knows the first step to solving our society’s problems is simply to be bold enough to take the first step.
A role model to a student who meets an LMU SOE graduate and, for the first time, thinks — “That could be me.”
Every student deserves an exceptional educator.
Every educator becomes exceptional at LMU School of Education.

We know what needs to be done. And we’re the ones to do it.
Cullen College of Engineering doesn’t create spectators – it creates mavericks. Enthusiasts. Fighters and futurists.
Whip-smart innovators who not only want to live in a better world, they’re dead-set on creating it. And even better, they know they can.
Here, discovery is destiny. It’s a calling that ignores outdated ideals in favor of modern game-changers.
A mission to build a stronger and smarter workforce — in Houston and across the nation. And an undertaking that will pioneer a path for the next set of big thinkers and bigger dreamers.
Our engineers carry with them the flame of society’s greatest ambitions — fueled by radical optimism and a ferocious hunger for innovation.
